Carl Perkins with his 1959 Epiphone Emperor 3 pick-up guitar as used on the Johnny Cash TV shows. He used it as his main instrument for about two years playing with Johnny Cash. It was played on the recordings of "A Boy Named Sue" and "Folsom Prison Blues" amongst others according to a Vintage Guitar interview by Dave Kyle.
